Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our electric ATVs, technology, charging and UK road compliance.

Q.Are electric quad bikes road legal in the UK?

Some electric quad bikes are road legal, provided they are homologated for road use, registered with the DVLA, taxed, insured, and display a number plate. You will also need a valid full UK driving licence to ride one on public roads. Always check the specific model's specifications.

Q.How long does the battery last on a single charge?

Battery life varies significantly by model, battery capacity, and riding conditions. Our adult off-road and utility models typically offer a range of 30 to 50 miles per charge. Kids' models generally offer 1 to 2 hours of continuous riding.

Q.How long does it take to charge an electric quad bike?

Charging times depend on the battery size and the charger used. Standard charging from a 3-pin UK plug socket usually takes between 6 to 8 hours from empty. Some models support fast charging, which can reduce this time significantly.

Q.What maintenance does an electric quad bike require?

Electric quad bikes require much less maintenance than petrol models. There are no oil changes, spark plugs, or air filters to worry about. Routine maintenance mainly involves checking tyre pressures, brake wear, keeping the chain/belt clean (if applicable), and ensuring the battery is charged correctly.
